The GU27 Price Ladder Steps Up Twice Before February

Registration for the 2027 ASCO Genitourinary Cancers Symposium moves through three fee windows, with a housing deadline on 16 December 2026 and a badge increase on 23 January 2027.

Two Steps on the Price Ladder

The American Society of Clinical Oncology holds the Genitourinary Cancers Symposium at Moscone West from Thursday 11 February to Saturday 13 February 2027.

The registration page sells the meeting in three windows. The first closes 16 December 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern. The second runs to 22 January 2027 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern. The third opens 23 January 2027 and runs through the last day of the meeting.

Each Column Steps Twice

A Physician or Scientist registering in person pays $975 as a member and $1,495 as a nonmember in the first window, $1,125 and $1,645 in the second, and $1,200 and $1,720 in the third.

The 17 December step adds $150 to each column. The 23 January step adds $75. The full ladder spans $225 in either column.

The online-only ladder on the same page runs from $780 and $1,195 to $905 and $1,320, and then to $955 and $1,370. The Nonmedical or Industry line, open to nonmembers only, steps from $1,835 to $1,985 and then to $2,060. A Patient Advocate attending in person pays $270, then $420, then $495. The same category registering for online attendance pays nothing in any window.

Members of ASTRO and SUO take a cosponsor discount by selecting a nonmember registration type and entering a promo code issued by their organisation.

The Same Page Prints Two Opening Days

The in-person table labels its middle window “Between December 17, 2026 - January 22, 2027 at 11:59 PM (ET).” The online-only table labels its own middle window “Between December 16, 2026 - January 22, 2027 at 11:59 PM (ET).” One date separates the two labels.

The December Date Moves the Rooms

Hotel reservations and early registration share one deadline, 16 December 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern. After that date the housing desk processes a request on a space-available basis, and the rate can rise.

The room terms run on the same clock. Room and tax for a group block must be pre-paid by the invoice date. Rooms held for a group are released when the invoice goes unpaid. Group reservation fees and payments are non-refundable. A group block is secured through the Customer Service Center. A block secured elsewhere carries an additional charge on each registrant.

An individual room carries a cancellation line 72 hours before the arrival date. A cancellation inside that window costs one night.

The online change window for a room closes on Wednesday 27 January 2027. On Thursday 28 January the page stops taking both changes and cancellations. From Friday 29 January the guest contacts the hotel directly.

The published rate includes internet access and fitness centre access. The hotel may charge for a third occupant. Room types are not guaranteed. Taxes and fees change.

The January Step Touches the Badge

The 23 January step moves the registration fee. The housing deadline sits 38 days earlier, and that January date lands 19 days before the opening session.

The registration desk takes entries until 3 p.m. Pacific on the last day of the meeting.

The Cancellation Terms

A registration cancellation closes 7 February 2027 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern. A cancellation filed before it can be refunded less a $75 administrative fee. After it the registration is not refundable.

Registrations cannot be substituted or transferred. A participation type cannot change after the same date.

The Room Cost Beside the Badge

Engine publishes a San Francisco par rate of $166 a night for a February stay against a city average of $165. The series draws on 3.1 million public rate observations from May 2024 to April 2026. Par rates are the cheapest public price at the time of each search.

A three-night stay at that February figure comes to $498. The top in-person Physician or Scientist badge at $1,720 is 3.4 times that figure.

The in-person fee carries three continental breakfasts, three boxed lunches and two wine and cheese poster receptions across the three days.

The organiser dates 5,850 attendees to the 2026 edition, of whom 620 were exhibitors and 230 media and others.

The Inventory the City Publishes

The Moscone Center FAQ page gives over 20,000 hotel rooms within walking distance of the centre. The book-an-event page on the same host puts more than two-thirds of the city’s 34,000 hotel rooms inside that walking band.

The Moscone Center event feed, read 17 October 2026, carries the symposium on 11 to 13 February 2027 as a Moscone West record. SPIE Photonics West closes 4 February, and the Orthopaedic Research Society opens 19 February.
