Fall SF Restaurant Week: Three Entry Terms for a Hotel Kitchen

Fall SF Restaurant Week sets three conditions on a participating kitchen: current GGRA membership, the Monday 28 September 2026 registration and menu deadline, and the Restaurant Week logo on every menu.

Three entry conditions

Fall SF Restaurant Week runs Friday 16 October through Sunday 25 October 2026. The Golden Gate Restaurant Association sets three conditions for a participating kitchen. Registration needs a current association membership. Registration, menus and photographs all closed on Monday 28 September 2026. Every menu carries the Restaurant Week logo.

A hotel outlet weighs those three conditions before its kitchen joins the programme.

Membership comes before registration

The restaurant FAQ states the rule in one sentence: "Please note you must be a current GGRA member. If you are not a current member, please follow the directions on the event page to join or renew your membership before registering."

The participation guide repeats the condition. "You must be an active current GGRA member to register as a participating restaurant," it reads.

The same document carries the fee line: "Participation is free for current Golden Gate Restaurant Association (GGRA) members!"

The guide states the dues basis. "Annual membership dues are based on a restaurant's or restaurant group's combined previous year revenue," it reads. The guide prints no dues ladder.

The membership page at ggra.org served navigation and a heading on 14 October 2026, with no dollar figure in its markup. The join path returned a 404 shell on the same read.

GGRA dates from 1936. It describes itself as a San Francisco-based non profit 501(c)6 organisation of restaurant members, "including many smaller, independent restaurants".

Two dates in two documents

The FAQ page dates all three submissions to one day. "The registration deadline for all participating restaurants is Monday, September 28, 2026," it reads. The next line adds: "The deadline for menu submissions and photo submissions is also Monday, September 28, 2026."

The participation guide carries the same registration date and a second date beside it. "The deadline for all participating restaurants to register is Monday, September 28, 2026," its final section reads. Then: "Please provide your menus and photo submissions by March 23 too in order to have them included on the website!"

The guide labels that March date with no year. Registration closed eighteen days before the programme opens, and both dates now sit in the past.

The FAQ page links a Spring 2026 participating list.

Ten price points, two item minimums, one logo

The menu requirements are three. A menu sits at one of ten published price points. It carries at least two items or courses at brunch or lunch, and at least three at dinner. It shows the Restaurant Week logo.

The FAQ page words the third criterion plainly: "You must include the SF Restaurant Week logo on your menu."

The guide ties the logo to the listing itself, which carries "A PDF of your SF Restaurant Week Menu(s) that you provide to us (note you must include the SFRW logo on your menu)."

The ladders read: brunch or lunch at $15, $25, $35, $45 for two or more items, and dinner at $30, $45, $60, $75, $90 for three or more. A restaurant may list several price points, and it may serve a day menu and a dinner menu.

Four formats and a ten-day ask

"Fall SF Restaurant Week 2026 will be open to any SF restaurant offering outdoor dining, indoor dining, takeout and/or delivery," the FAQ page reads. The guide widens the set to meal kits. A hotel kitchen can enter on a delivery or takeout menu alone.

The ten-day offer is an ask. "We ask that you offer your menu(s) consistently throughout the 10 days (within your restaurant's regular operating days/hours)," the FAQ page reads.

The weekend line carries the reasoning and the recovery step. "Data shows that many diners make their SF Restaurant Week reservations for the weekends," the page reads. It closes: "If you are not going to offer the menu on weekends we suggest you contact all weekend reservation holders and notify them that you won't be offering the Restaurant Week menu."

The booking platform is not a condition. "SF Restaurant Week is open to any restaurant that wants to participate regardless of whether you use OpenTable's reservation platform," the page reads.

What the roster shows

The participating list read on 14 October 2026 carries 179 records. Eight of them tie to a hotel operation.

Seven name their property through the website link on the record: Anzu to hotelnikkosf.com, Bistro 888 to icsanfrancisco.com, Blue Mermaid Restaurant & Bar to argonauthotel.com, Campton Bar + Bistro to tajhotels.com, Monte's Bar to omnihotels.com, Orafo to fourseasons.com and The Post Room to beacongrand.com. The eighth, Astra (The St. Regis San Francisco), names its property inside the record itself.

Service tags on the same read run to indoor dining 175, outdoor dining 82, takeout 31, delivery 15 and vegetarian options 3. Day-side menus sit on 98 records and dinner menus on 159, with 78 records carrying both.

The promotion side and the group terms

Marketing reaches diners through the association's consumer brand. The guide names Eat Drink SF, an Instagram account with over 94,000 followers, an email audience, and sponsors and community partners including one it names as SF Travel. Each participant receives a virtual social media kit.

Bookings stay with the property. "All reservations and to go/delivery orders will be booked directly through the restaurant or the restaurant's reservation platform," the guide reads.

The programme publishes no group terms for a hotel to price against. Its pages carry no per-person or per-table basis, no party-size field, no deposit line and no cancellation line. A hotel weighing participation reads the membership condition, the deadline and the logo rule, then brings its own group terms.
