The San Francisco Fall Show opens its 2026 edition with the Opening Night Gala on Wednesday 14 October at the Festival Pavilion, Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture, 2 Marina Blvd, San Francisco. The organiser's booking page heads the event Wednesday October 14, 5:00pm, and carries the entry clock for each tier.
Five tiers carry fifteen tickets
Visionary sells six gala tickets for $10,000 and enters at 5 p.m. Connoisseur sells four for $5,000 and enters at 5 p.m. Collector sells two for $2,700 and enters at 5 p.m. Enthusiast sells two for $1,100 and enters at 6 p.m. Supporter sells one for $400 and enters at 7 p.m.
The five tiers carry fifteen tickets between them. Twelve sit at 5 p.m., two at 6 p.m. and one at 7 p.m.
The tax-deductible split runs its own ladder
Each tier publishes a tax-deductible contribution. Visionary carries $9,250 of its $10,000, or 92.5 per cent. Connoisseur carries $4,500 of $5,000, or 90 per cent. Collector carries $2,450 of $2,700, or 90.74 per cent. Enthusiast carries $850 of $1,100, or 77.27 per cent. Supporter carries $275 of $400, or 68.75 per cent.
The deductible share falls across the five tiers, from 92.5 per cent at the top to 68.75 per cent at the base. The amount the show keeps per package runs $750, $500, $250, $250 and $125.
Per ticket, the middle tier prices above the tier beneath it
Divide each price by its ticket count. Visionary comes to $1,666.67 a ticket. Connoisseur comes to $1,250. Collector comes to $1,350. Enthusiast comes to $550. Supporter comes to $400.
Collector prices $100 a ticket above Connoisseur and carries the same 5 p.m. entry. Connoisseur carries four tickets and complimentary tickets to all lectures with reservations. Collector carries two tickets and complimentary tickets to some lectures with reservations.
The inclusions move with the clock
Complimentary valet parking for the gala comes with Visionary, Connoisseur, Collector and Enthusiast. Visionary and Connoisseur extend valet to the show days. An invitation to the Chairman's Luncheon on Thursday 15 October comes with Visionary, Connoisseur and Collector. Lecture tickets come with all lectures on Visionary and Connoisseur, with some lectures on Collector, with two lectures on Enthusiast and with none on Supporter. Unlimited entry across the show days comes with the four tiers above Supporter.
The evening itself
The organiser describes the evening with buffets, caviar and lamb chops, full bars and music, and art and antiques in the setting. The 2026 theme is Metallique Chic. The booking page carries a No Refunds line.
Three clocks across two hours
The gala holds one venue and one published start. Three entry clocks stage the arrival across two hours. The top tier and the third tier cross the threshold at the same minute. The 5 p.m. clock reaches three price points, at $10,000, $5,000 and $2,700.
The gala's 5:00 p.m. start sits 17.5 hours from the Thursday floor open at 10:30 a.m. on 15 October.
The show around the gala
The fair runs 15 to 18 October. The floor opens 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. The show is a non-profit 501(c)(3) founded in 1982 and lists over 40 dealers. The show chair is Suzanne Tucker, the show director is Susan Engel and the lecture series chair is Chesie Breen.
