The Booking
The Oregon Convention Center holds the 28th Annual Alzheimer’s Association Caregiver Conference on Aging, Alzheimer’s and Brain Health on Tuesday 10 November 2026. The venue assigns Portland Ballroom 251-254 and 257-258. Six rooms come out of one ballroom block.
The chapter dates the programme 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The conference flyer linked from the chapter page prints the same window as 8AM - 5PM. Both sources agree. The venue sits at 777 NE Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard.
One Day Sets One Night
A programme that opens at 8 a.m. on a Tuesday puts a room cost on the night before it. A registrant standing in a ballroom at eight needs Monday 9 November in Portland.
The venue calendar supports that reading. Nine events sit in November 2026. The 6th carries a housing forecast breakfast in Portland Ballroom 251-252-253-258. The 7th and 8th carry the Oddities & Curiosities Expo in Halls C-D-E and the NW Martial Arts Festival in Hall A. Kumoricon opens 13 November for three days in Halls A-A1-B-C-D-E. Nothing else occupies 9, 11 or 12 November.
Two consequences follow. The night in demand is Monday. No booking on that Monday or Tuesday shares the room stock.
250 Funded Places
The chapter publishes a registration split. The first 250 Oregon family caregivers register at no cost through a collaboration with Oregon Care Partners. Places release first come, first served, and the free rate requires Oregon residency.
The registration listing prices the event fee as a range from $0 to $100 and takes credit cards only. 6.5 continuing-education credits sit at the $100 General Public option, and the credit line repeats the residency condition.
That split carries a room consequence. A free Oregon place puts a resident in the room. The paid place and the credit reach the cohort that travels.
The Edition Number
The venue titles the booking the 28th annual conference. The chapter page reads “nearly 30 years of quality, person-centered education and training” and “three decades of education and training to family and professional caregivers”. Both sentences describe one annual run at one organisation.
A repeat cycle gives a property a date to work twelve months ahead. The edition number is the published evidence the cycle holds.
What the Record Omits
No attendance figure appears. The venue page carries the date, the six room numbers, a registration requirement and the chapter helpline at 800.272.3900. The chapter page carries the programme shape and a save-the-date line.
No host hotel appears for this date. No rate, cutoff date or room-night commitment appears on the venue page or the chapter page.
The agenda is unpublished. The chapter carries “2026 Agenda Coming Soon”, which leaves no session grid, no luncheon time and no closing session.
The registration deadline is the event day itself, 10 November 2026. A desk that reads registration volume as a pickup signal gets no lead time from a cutoff that lands in the arrival week.
One operating line sits only on the listing. Lunch is included with registration, and a happy hour follows the day’s programming. A reception after a 5 p.m. close holds a guest into the evening, and it is the only published item that carries the Tuesday night.
The Room-Night Position
The record holds five usable items. A fixed Tuesday date. Six rooms off one ballroom block. 250 funded places with a residency condition. A 28-edition return cycle. A one-night stay pattern tied to an 8 a.m. open.
Those five items support a Monday rate fence and a Tuesday departure. They carry no attendee count, so no room-night commitment can be underwritten from the record.
Three properties sit inside 300 metres of the address, straight-line. The Inn at the Convention Center at 420 NE Holladay measures 225 metres. The Hyatt Regency at 375 NE Holladay measures 242 metres. Hotel Eastlund at 1021 NE Grand measures 281 metres. A count of named hotels within 1,200 metres returns 13.
The account returns each November. The desk work sits on Monday 9 November, and the next edition gives a full year of notice.
