The Liberty Guide Does Fleet Week's Demand-Shaping Work

Fleet Week publishes eight business-posted offers and no room block. The Axiom Hotel and Hotel Caza carry the lodging side inside their own booking flows.

The Association Publishes a Nine-Day Calendar

San Francisco Fleet Week 2026 runs 4 to 12 October. The association publishes a nine-day calendar, a ship-tour schedule, an air-show plan and a map of events for the week.

The Liberty Guide Carries Eight Posted Offers

The visitor layer is the Liberty Guide. Its own line reads, "The Liberty Guide connects visiting service members with San Francisco businesses ready to welcome them." A read of fleetweeksf.org/liberty-guide/ on 7 October 2026 returns eight offers.

Five carry the Food label. Harborview Restaurant and Bar takes 10 percent off drinks, lunch and dinner with a military ID or uniform. Parada 22 takes 20 percent off the bill for veterans and active duty. Question Mark Tavern serves active duty in uniform free beer and well drinks at E-5 and below, charges E-6 and above 50 percent, and takes 50 percent off for veterans and first responders. Savoy Tivoli takes 20 percent off with a military ID and 25 percent off in uniform. The Candy Store takes 10 percent off in store.

Two businesses carry the Attraction label, and Red and White Fleet carries the Tour label beside it. Red and White Fleet carries military in uniform free on the Golden Gate Bay, Bridge to Bridge and California Sunset cruises and takes 15 percent off for veterans out of uniform. SkyStar Wheel carries a free ride for active duty Monday through Friday.

Winery Collective carries the Retail label and takes 10 percent off any bottle purchase for active military and veterans.

Four Offers Carry a Published Window

Question Mark Tavern publishes a kitchen window of 1100 to 1430 and 1700 to 0200 and a happy hour of 1700 to 1900. The Candy Store publishes a window of 3 October to 12 October and store hours of 11 to 5, Tuesday to Saturday. SkyStar names Monday to Friday. Winery Collective names 4 October to 11 October and a range of 30 California wines. Red and White Fleet names its three qualifying cruises in place of a clock.

The Candy Store window opens on 3 October, one day before the association's 4 to 12 October banner.

A Business Writes Its Own Term

The submission page at fleetweeksf.org/liberty-guide-submission/ states the rule set: "Restaurants, retailers, hotels, tours, attractions, and service businesses can submit their details below." The offer runs "in 50 words or fewer, including valid dates, restrictions, and how to redeem it", and the page asks for a separate form for each business location.

Each business holds its discount, its dates, its redemption rule and its qualifying group. The association holds the page, the filter and the publish date.

The Position

The guide carries the week's demand-shaping work. It gives a visitor a reason to enter a business, it publishes the term for using that reason, and it puts both on a public page before the visitor arrives. The week's lodging terms sit with the properties.

The Two Named Properties Hold the Lodging Side

The association's Where to Stay page names two hotels. The Axiom Hotel sits in Union Square, within steps of the SoMa district. Its block reads, "Our friends at the Axiom Hotel are offering a special discount for Fleet Week attendees." The booking button resolves to axiomhotel.com with a selfbook flag, a promo field reading GOV and hotelId 66053 in the query string.

Hotel Caza sits between Fisherman's Wharf, North Beach and the Embarcadero. Its block carries three sentences of description and a plain link to hotelcaza.com.

Neither block publishes a rate, a room count, a minimum stay or a cut-off date. Each property owns its booking path, its inventory and its rate, and each writes its own term.

What the Desk Records

The offer list grows through the week. The submission page publishes no fee and no closing date, and the two roster date lines above sit at 3 October and 4 October against the association's 4 to 12 October banner.

A front desk can hand the four clocked terms to a guest this week and route the two booking paths to reservations. The guide publishes the term. The property publishes the rate.
