No Block, No Group Code: The 52nd Castro Street Fair

The 52nd Castro Street Fair runs seven hours on Sunday, 4 October 2026 with a donation gate, 22 published pages and no room block, group code or cut-off date.

The published record carries no housing ladder

The 52nd Castro Street Fair runs Sunday, October 4, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Castro and Market Street in San Francisco. The organiser's page sitemap holds 22 pages and its post sitemap holds 15 posts. No URL in either sitemap carries a hotel, lodging, travel or room-block route.

The partners page carries five tiers: Official Connectivity Partner, Official Media Sponsor, Community Partners, With Generous Support and Production Support. No tier sells lodging.

The gate asks for a donation

Entry carries no ticket. The Fair asks a suggested donation of $10 to $20 at the entry gates. Its FAQ states that nobody is turned away for lack of funds. Gate money covers the cost of producing the Fair and is shared with the beneficiary partners.

Four segments close, and the crowd arrives by rail

Four street segments close for the day: Market Street from Noe to Castro, Castro Street from Market to 19th Street, 18th Street from Diamond to Noe, and 17th Street from Castro to Noe. Muni Metro's K Ingleside, L Taraval, M Ocean View and S Shuttle lines stop at Castro Station, which the Fair places inside the fairgrounds. The Fair calls Muni Metro highly recommended and points readers to SFMTA.com.

The spend lands with merchants and beneficiaries

The Fair has distributed more than $1.6 million to local nonprofits since 1998. It names 11 beneficiary partners for 2026. Those partners supply the volunteers who staff the entry gates and collect donations, and they take a share of the proceeds. The beneficiaries page puts the annual budget above $200,000. The Fair also supports the Castro Merchants Association in the purchase and maintenance of the Rainbow Flag at Harvey Milk Plaza.

The one property-facing figure and its date

The press page holds the 50th-anniversary release from 2024. It quotes the then Board President, Jenn Meyer, on an estimated $8 million in total visitor impact for the prior year, benefiting retail, dining and hotels. That figure belongs to the 2024 release. No 2026 equivalent publishes.

The one priced transaction on the day

The Official Castro Street Fair After Party runs at the Castro Theatre. Polyglamorous presents it, with Octo Octa, BEYA and Mark O'Brien. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the show starts at 6:00 p.m. The event is all ages. Tickets run $35.25 to $65.25 through Ticketmaster.

What the record gives a procurement reader

The Fair publishes no attendance, capacity or gate count. A procurement or sales reader who wants a negotiated rate finds no published block, no group code and no cut-off date. The published request is transit to Castro Station, a donation at the gate, and spend with the merchants inside the footprint.
