Current San Francisco Hides a Four-Rung Pass Ladder in Its Markup

Current San Francisco 2026 carries a four-rung pass ladder from $499 to $999 inside a section the page's own stylesheet hides, and two of the rungs link to the New Orleans edition.

Four rungs inside a section the page hides

The pricing block on the organiser's San Francisco page sits inside one section element, and the tag reads section id="pricing" section-height="jumbo" class="bento_grid--section hide". The page's shared stylesheet carries one rule for the hide class, and that rule reads display: none. The four rungs therefore reach no reader on the painted page.

The organiser's page is current.confluent.io/san-francisco, and the conference is Current San Francisco 2026 at Moscone West, 800 Howard Street, on Wednesday 4 November and Thursday 5 November.

The four rungs the block carries

Early Bird, General Attendee, $499, marked Expired August 15. Advance, Individual Pass, $699, marked Expires October 10. Standard, Individual Pass, $899, marked Expires October 29. Onsite, Individual Pass, $999, with no note line.

The line above the four cards reads Register now for $899 until October 29, and the heading beside it reads Save $100 with Standard Pricing. The $100 is the gap between the Standard rung and the Onsite rung. No note line carries a year, and two of the three dated rungs had closed by a 15 October 2026 read.

Two of the four cards link to New Orleans

The Advance card wraps the whole card in a link, and its href is confluent.swoogo.com/currentneworleans. The Onsite card's Register button carries the href /new-orleans/first-to-know. The Standard card's href is a bare "#", an anchor to nothing. The Early Bird card carries no link at all, and its Register now label sits as a plain element.

The four register links outside the pricing section point at confluent.swoogo.com/currentsanfrancisco2026. A buyer who reaches the hidden block and follows the Advance card lands on the New Orleans registration host.

The New Orleans page carries the same four rungs

The organiser runs a second city page at current.confluent.io/new-orleans. That page carries the same class list, the same four rungs and the same four note lines as the San Francisco page. Its copy names its own edition: watch Current 2025 on demand, The best of Current New Orleans, and Thank you to our 2025 sponsors. Its watch button points to /archive/2026/london.

The San Francisco page draws its layout stylesheets and scripts from staging-nola-25.netlify.app, a host named for the New Orleans edition.

The second pass reading on the painted page

A registration block higher up the same page carries the reading a visitor meets. Its heading reads Register now to secure your complimentary pass, and the paragraph below it reads: That's right, Current passes are available at no cost this year. But register early to reserve your spot, as capacity is limited and passes may no longer be available once the event reaches capacity.

That block's button routes to the San Francisco registration host at confluent.swoogo.com/currentsanfrancisco2026. The organiser's FAQ answers the speaker question with a free pass once a speaker is confirmed.

What the venue publishes about the rooms

The Moscone Center's booking page states the purpose of the building. It reads: The Moscone Center serves primarily to fill hotel rooms in San Francisco and potentially the surrounding area. The same page states that more than two-thirds of the city's 34,000 hotel rooms sit within walking distance. The venue's FAQ states that more than 20,000 hotel rooms sit within walking distance, and that the centre does not rent rooms on an individual basis.

The organiser answers the hotel question with one line: Hotel blocks are available in your confirmation email, all within walking distance of the Moscone Center. No organiser page read names a block property, a rate or a cut-off date, so the block's terms reach a buyer through the confirmation email.

The two dates a delegate holds

The organiser's FAQ publishes a transfer date. A registration may be transferred to another person within the same organisation by notifying current@regsvc.com by 3 November 2026. That date is the conference's own travel day, and the FAQ publishes no hour inside it and no fee for it.

The cancellation answer routes to the same address. It states that cancellations of travel reservations and of hotel reservations made directly with a hotel are the responsibility of the attendee.

Scale and the market read

The organiser's page carries one strip of scale lines: 3000+ Attendees, 100+ Speakers, 50+ Partners and 80+ Sessions. The venue's page carries no attendance figure for this booking, and its call to action is a Register your interest line.

Engine puts San Francisco at $165 a night across 3.1M public rate observations from May 2024 to April 2026. Its November column reads $147, which the page labels 11 percent below the city's average. Engine defines those figures as par rates, the cheapest publicly available price at the time of each search.
