The position

The Indiana Convention Center lists the event for October 21 to October 24, 2026 and carries a 70,000 forecast in its own attendance field. The organiser states the convention will occur in Indianapolis through at least 2033. Group housing closes 23 September 2026 at 5 p.m. EDT, four weeks before the opening session.
What the venue publishes
Seventy thousand attendees against the venue's stated 7,100 downtown rooms is 9.86 people for every downtown room. At two occupants a room the group needs 35,000 rooms, or 4.93 times the downtown base. At three occupants it needs 23,333, or 3.29 times. At four it needs 17,500, or 2.46 times.
Seven downtown destinations sit on the indoor walkway network. The organiser's A to Z guide names the Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium, the JW Marriott complex, Indianapolis Marriott Downtown, the Westin, the Hyatt Regency, the Omni Severin, the Crowne Plaza and Circle Centre Mall. The venue footer puts 4,700 rooms on the skywalk network, which is 66.2 percent of the downtown base.
The commitment to 2033
The organiser states that the convention will occur in Indianapolis through at least 2033. Seven editions follow the 2026 run, from 2027 through 2033. That horizon is the number an owner can underwrite against.
The venue expansion page counts this convention among the cornerstone events behind almost $300 million in annual economic impact, beside FDIC and NTEA. The same page names 2,500 construction jobs, 400 new hotel jobs and the 803-room Signia by Hilton Indianapolis, skybridge-connected, with a December 2026 opening.
The four nights
The published grid runs four days. Opening Session 1A starts 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Thursday carries sessions at 8 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Friday carries sessions at 8 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday carries the American Degree Ceremony and the Seventh General Session at 1:30 p.m. All times EDT.
Expo hours run 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday. The shopping mall runs 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday. The room nights are Wednesday 21, Thursday 22, Friday 23 and Saturday 24 October.
The organiser publishes no block rate. Its Chapter Hotel List, Expo Sponsor Hotel List, Hotel Area Map and chapter housing FAQ are Box links, and each one returns a script shell with no readable text.
Engine reads $134 for an October night in Indianapolis against a $128 average across the year, on par rates observed 10 to 180 days before check-in.
The 23 September close
Housing opened 13 May 2026 at 6 p.m. EDT. The last day to cancel without penalty was 2 September 2026 at 5 p.m. EDT. Housing closes 23 September 2026 at 5 p.m. EDT. The exhibitor page tells groups not to contact their hotel until after 24 September, because hotels need time to download the reservations once housing closes. The rooming list arrives in one transfer in the last week of September, after the cancellation window has shut.
The Saturday clear
Saturday carries one afternoon item. Registration and badge pickup move to Lucas Oil Stadium and run 6:30 to 9 a.m. only. The Hall A desk runs 1 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday and Friday. The Housing Desk in Room 116 closes after Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Friday holds the last expo hours, at 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The fourth night rests on guests who stay past a 1:30 p.m. ceremony on Saturday. Those rooms return to the market on Sunday 25 October.
The rooming list carries supervisory pairings. The organiser publishes a Code of Conduct and a Code of Ethics, and its registration terms require an advisor or chaperone to accompany a student member who replaces a lost badge.
The venue's own calendar shows what follows. No convention centre booking sits between the Midwest Multifamily Conference close on 16 October and the FFA opening on 21 October. Nothing sits between the FFA close on 24 October and the State Board of Law Admission Ceremony on 26 October at a forecast 1,800. The SHPE National Conference follows on 28 October at a forecast 15,000.
