The Booking on the Record
The Indiana Chamber of Commerce holds its second Emerging Leaders Forum at the Indiana Convention Center on 7 October 2026. The venue lists the event as the Emerging Leaders’ Summit. The organiser uses Forum. The venue assigns Meeting Rooms 231-239, publishes doors at 8:30 a.m. and forecasts 220 attendees.
The published agenda runs 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Six sessions sit between an opening keynote and a closing reception. Four breaks and three food functions sit inside the day.
The Chamber publishes the prior edition's post-event count at 231 attendees.
The Room Set the Buyer Commits To
Rooms 231-239 measure 1,785 square feet each. Nine rooms total 16,065 square feet. Each seats 210 theatre style, so the set holds 1,890 seats. Two hundred and twenty delegates use 11.6 percent of that capacity and hold 73 square feet each.
The venue includes the initial room set in the room rental. Specifications must reach the Event Coordinator at least 25 days before the first move-in day. A set change or a room turnover carries additional labour with a four-hour minimum. Rooms are refreshed once daily.
Those three terms set the cost of the set. The initial set is included in the rental. A change after the fact is a separate line.
The date sits inside a booked run. The Gas Machinery Conference closes 7 October. The ISBA/IAPSS Annual Conference runs 5-6 October. The FullScale Symposium and the American Dental Association Scientific Sessions both open 8 October.
The venue calendar lists 16 events from 22 September to 15 October. Free days in that window are 23 and 24 September, 2 and 3 October, and 11 October. A single-day meeting-room booking fills nine rooms and consumes no hall space.
What the Venue Sells Separately
Sodexo Live! holds exclusive food and beverage rights at the Center. Purchases carry 7 percent Indiana sales tax and 2 percent Marion County food and beverage tax.
The Chamber sells the hours the caterer services. The presenting tier is $15,000 exclusive. Platinum is $5,000 across four opportunities: breakfast, luncheon, refreshment breaks and the networking reception. Gold is $3,000, and the Emerging Leader Champion tier is $1,500. Every tier carries a first right of renewal for the 2027 event.
The hall products sit outside a one-day meeting-room sale: 500 PSF floor loads, dock assignment by hall, and utility grids on 30-foot centres. Hall A alone lists 44,400 square feet at a 35-foot ceiling.
What the Hotel Holds
The organiser publishes no nightly rate and no reservation deadline. Its hotel line directs delegates to the Hyatt Regency Indianapolis on corporate account 55737, subject to availability. The property sets the price on the day.
One night of demand comes off this event. Downtown Indianapolis holds 7,100 rooms, and 4,700 of them connect to the Center by skywalk. Two hundred and twenty delegates are 3.1 percent of the stock.
The Downtown Indy Alliance reported a downtown average daily rate of $209.11 on CoStar and STR data. Two hundred and twenty rooms at that rate totals about $46,000. That figure is a ceiling. It assumes every delegate takes a room and pays the market average.
The service load runs heavier than the room count. The venue carries three food functions and four breaks inside 8.25 hours.
The Repeat Pattern
The agenda and the venue page both call this the second annual edition. The prospectus carries the Second Annual Jackson Lewis Emerging Leader of the Year Award.
Two attendance figures are published. The venue forecasts 220. The prior edition counted 231. The forecast sits 4.8 percent below the count, and each figure comes from its own publisher.
The prospectus breaks out the prior edition's audience. Managers were 29 percent, directors 20 percent and specialists 20 percent. Insurance and finance was 15 percent, business services 13 percent, engineering and construction 12 percent, healthcare 12 percent, nonprofit 11 percent, manufacturing 9 percent and education 9 percent. That mix carries no lodging or hospitality line.
Registration runs $199 for Chamber members and $249 at list. A table of six costs $579 member and $699 list, or $96.50 a seat. A lunch-only ticket is $99, and a lunch table of six is $479.
The Case for Pricing the Repeat
Four published facts support a 2027 proposal. The event holds a fixed October date. The nine-room set needs no hall. The Chamber publishes an audience mix and a renewal clause. The venue calendar holds no other booking on 7 October.
A property chasing the 2027 edition should price the day and the set. Build the proposal around nine meeting rooms, three food functions and one committed night. The food and beverage windows carry more margin than 220 rooms at the market average.
