The question is narrow. A 1,500-attendee buying show for the convenience-store trade holds two midweek nights in Indianapolis in February 2027. The district's base demand for that month turns on whether the show carries rooms of its own.
The answer on the block is no. The answer on the nights is yes. The month's published load sits with two national conventions.
The organiser is Core-Mark. CSP Daily News reported on 8 January 2026 that Core-Mark, a Performance Food Group company, added Indianapolis to its expo schedule for 2026 alongside Albuquerque and Charlotte. The shows feature more than 150 vendor partners, with products tailored to the convenience-store trade.
The month the venue publishes
The venue's own calendar is the record to argue from. Its events feed for February 2027 returns eight dated records. Henry Schein National Sales Meeting runs 2-4 February. The Indiana Health and Safety Conference & Expo runs 7-10 February. The Indiana Green Expo runs 8-10 February. Core-Mark Expo runs 10-11 February. Where 1,500 sits in that month
Core-Mark's 1,500 is 5.24 percent of the eight-record total. WWETT alone carries 14,000 across 22-25 February, or 48.87 percent of the month. WWETT and the AFCA convention together carry 21,000, or 73.3 percent.
Three events share Wednesday 10 February. The safety conference closes a 7-10 February run at 850. The Green Expo closes an 8-10 February run at 2,000. Core-Mark opens at 1,500. The three forecasts add to 4,350, or 15.18 percent of the month.
The two nights sit inside the published rate basis

Nine days after the Signia
The 800-room Signia by Hilton Indianapolis is the convention centre's newest headquarters hotel. The venue's news item of 21 April 2026 states the property "is now accepting reservations for stays beginning February 1, 2027". February 1 is a Monday, and the Core-Mark arrival on 10 February falls nine days later.
The venue publishes the building twice more at other counts and other dates. Its expansion page carries 803 rooms, a December 2026 opening and 90,000 square feet of meeting space. Visit Indy carries 803 rooms with 235,000 square feet of meeting space, a 50,000-square-foot ballroom and a 38-story tower, inside a package of 12 hotels and 5,200 rooms connected to the convention centre.
At 800 rooms the property is 11.27 percent of the venue's downtown room count. At 803 rooms it is 11.31 percent. New supply of that size lands inside the same month this show trades.
The block question
No 2027 block is published for this expo. Core-Mark's expo page carries the registration route and the regional list heading, and no date, city, hall or show hours. The venue page carries Exhibit Hall J-K and the 1,500 forecast. It carries no block rate, no cut-off date and no named host hotel.
The hall pair is the only published commitment. The convention bureau's table sizes Hall J at 36,400 square feet with 174 booths and Hall K at 38,700 square feet with 198 booths. The pair holds 75,100 square feet and 372 booths, scheduled for two nights.
The position
On the block, a show that publishes nothing above 1,500 has no room commitment in the public record. A hotel planning February 2027 works from the hall hold, the night pair and the month's published roster.
