The position
The Thursday night is the tight one in the 2026 CNO Financial Indianapolis Monumental Marathon block. The block returns one property for a Thursday arrival and nine for the Saturday night alone. The free decision on the Thursday night closes on 8 October 2026.
The race runs Saturday 7 November 2026. The block holds 14 Indianapolis properties at distances of 0.06 to 1.14 miles from the event. Twelve sit inside a mile and ten inside half a mile. Housing runs on Passkey with the Visit Indy Housing Bureau, the selection is Attendee, no access code is required, and one name may hold up to five rooms.
The block's answers, window by window
A Saturday 7 November arrival and a Sunday departure return nine properties at $173 to $251. A Thursday 5 November arrival and a Saturday departure return one property, Hilton Indianapolis Hotel & Suites at $244. A Friday 6 November arrival and a Saturday departure return the same property at $244. A Friday arrival and a Sunday departure return one property, TownePlace Suites Indianapolis Downtown at $219.
Two wider requests return nothing at all. A Thursday arrival with a Sunday departure returns no results, and a Tuesday 3 November arrival with a Monday 9 November departure returns no results.
The inventory fields run wider than the search. Thirteen records publish an availability window of 5 to 9 November, and The Westin Indianapolis alone publishes 3 to 9 November. These counts are the block's own answers, read on 25 September 2026, and they move between searches. The organiser's hotel page anticipates the empty result: “If it says there is no availability, we may only have single or non-sequential nights still available,” it states.
The two minimums
Two properties carry a minimum stay. CozySuites Block 20 at 423 East Michigan Street and TownePlace Suites Indianapolis Downtown at 629 Russell Avenue both publish the same line: “Required 2 night minimum stay of Friday and Saturday.” That minimum binds the Friday night and the Saturday night at those two properties. A Friday arrival satisfies it. A Thursday arrival satisfies it and takes a third night.
The tax line beside every rate
All 14 records quote rates that exclude 17 percent tax, and four name a $1 per night district fee on top: Embassy Suites Indianapolis Downtown as a Downtown Destination Fee, Hilton Indianapolis Hotel & Suites as an EED fee, Hyatt Place Indianapolis Downtown as an Economic Enhancement District fee, and the Hyatt Regency Indianapolis as a Downtown District Fee.
The tax moves the entry price. Seventeen percent on the $210 line in the Saturday set is $35.70, for $245.70. On the $251 line it is $42.67, for $293.67.
The deadline ladder
The organiser's hotel page carries five steps. 29 September is the deadline to assign guest occupant names to rooms held under one name. 8 October is the last day to cancel without penalty, with a $25 fee per reservation after it. 5 to 16 October is the window to make new reservations or add nights, with the date varying by hotel. 22 October is the deadline to modify a reservation through the Housing Bureau. Cancellations and no-shows after 22 October are charged by the hotel.
All 14 records carry the same close date, 22 October at 11:59 p.m., and reservation access opens across 17 days. Hilton Indianapolis Hotel & Suites and The Westin Indianapolis open first on 6 October. CozySuites Block 20 opens last on 23 October, with the other 11 properties opening across 7, 8, 9, 10, 13, 16 and 17 October.
The property with the longest term sheet
CozySuites Block 20 opens last and carries the widest terms. It adds a one-time cleaning fee of $90 for a studio or one-bedroom unit and $110 for a two-bedroom unit. A guest owes a non-refundable $39.99 damage waiver or a $200 refundable deposit. The property states that it requires advanced full payment from 23 October 2026 and includes one complimentary parking space per unit.
What the block prices
The Saturday set of nine spans $173 to $251, a spread of $78. The five-room ceiling per name caps one planner at 70 rooms across the roster of 14. New reservations run from 5 to 16 October, and the date varies by hotel. A planner who wants the Thursday night decides by 8 October.
