The Flower Show's Housing Route Names Two Hotels and No Rate

The Indiana Flower + Patio Show runs 13-21 March 2027 over nine days at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, and its housing route names two properties with no published rate.

The Nine Days on the Record

The Indiana Flower + Patio Show runs Saturday 13 March to Sunday 21 March 2027 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center, 1202 E. 38th St., Indianapolis. Marketplace Events produces it. The show's About Us page carries the company line of more than 100 consumer and trade shows in North America.

Doors open at 10 a.m. on all nine days. Three days run ten hours to an 8 p.m. close: Saturday 13 March, Friday 19 March and Saturday 20 March. The four weekdays run nine hours to 7 p.m. Both Sundays run seven hours to 5 p.m. The grid totals 80 show-floor hours, and two full weekends sit inside the run.

Admission is $15.00 at the door and $13.00 online. Children 12 and under enter free. Three dates carry free entry for a named group: Teacher Day on Sunday 14 March, Senior Day on Tuesday 16 March for anyone 65 and over, and Hero Day on Friday 19 March for active military, veterans, police and fire, with free parking on that date. The organiser sells its own weekday tail at $5 after 5 p.m. at the box office from Monday 15 to Thursday 18 March, two hours a day and eight hours across the run. Parking is a $10 facility charge per vehicle per day. Noble Evening in the Gardens runs Friday 12 March, the night before the run opens.

The Housing Route Names Two Properties

The Accommodations block on the show's show-info page names two hotels with street addresses. The Hampton Inn NE Castleton Indianapolis sits at 6817 East 82nd Street and the Candlewood Suites Indianapolis NE at 8111 Bash Street. The same block names Lazy Sunday Rentals at 10 percent off a direct booking under code LAZYINDYFLOWERSHOW, and the Fairgrounds RV campgrounds at $40 plus tax per day with a hook-up on 317-927-7500.

Neither hotel publishes a rate, a cut-off date or a room count. The Hampton link is a Hilton reservation URL with a one-night window in March 2026 and no group code. The Candlewood link is an IHG hotel-detail page for property code INDBS with no dates. A revenue manager who counts pickup has no code to count against and no rate to hold.

The Venue's Own List Starts 3.2 Miles Out

The Fairgrounds' hotel page carries one instruction, to make a reservation with one of its preferred hotels in partnership with Visit Indy, and names no property. That link runs to a Visit Indy reservation list. Read on 25 September 2026, the list carries 85 records with the venue's own distance field, from 3.20 miles at the Bottleworks Hotel to 9.97 miles at the Hotel Carmichael, Autograph Collection.

Four records sit under 4 miles, 38 from 4 to 6 miles, 18 from 6 to 8 miles and 25 from 8 to 10 miles. Every record stores a null rate. The page asks a guest to enter dates before it renders a figure. Its chrome carries an assistance line on 800-350-6181.

The Promoter Publishes No Attendance Figure

The About Us page carries 300-plus booths as its only scale line. The home, About Us, show-info, media and exhibitor-kit pages carry no attendance, visitor or exhibitor-headcount figure. The venue's event page republishes the nine clocks, the admission tiers, the $10 charge per vehicle and the four main gates: Gate 1 on 38th Street, Gate 2 on 42nd Street, Gate 5 and Gate 6 on Fall Creek Parkway.

Two pages on the promoter's site carry an older cycle. The exhibitor-kit page holds a 2026 dates-and-hours grid and 2026 move-in clocks. The page banner carries the 2027 dates. The all-features page is headed 2026 Show Features and labels St. Patrick's Day Tuesday 17 March. The show-info page labels the same holiday Wednesday 17 March. The all-features page lists four guided garden tours at 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. across 16 to 19 March. The show-info page lists its four clocks at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. across 15 to 18 March. Each tour costs $25 and includes show admission.

The Position

On the published record, the flower show is a same-day market for the hotel trade. A revenue manager who commits inventory to the nine days before an overnight measure exists takes on a risk with no published size attached to it.

Three published items carry that reading. The housing route names two properties about seven miles from the grounds and publishes no rate, no cut-off date and no room count at either. The venue's preferred list stores no rate, and its nearest record sits 3.20 miles out. The organiser prices eight hours of its own weekday tail at $5. That price is the only published statement on the value of those hours.

The Evidence File

Six items would support a decision, and none of them is published today. An attendance or room-night figure for the nine days. A block rate with a cut-off date and a room count at either named property. A group code on either booking link. An overnight split across the 85-property list by distance band. A preferred property inside three miles of the venue. A 2027 move-in and move-out clock to date the shoulder nights.

Nine consecutive days with two 8 p.m. closes and two weekends give the market a case to test. The reading changes on a published overnight figure from the promoter, or on a signed block with a rate, a cut-off and a room count at either named property. Until one of those lands, the file holds the clock grid, the distance bands and the null rate at every record on the venue's list.
